I am a freelance biomedical consultant with expertise and specific interest in neuroscience and oncology. After obtaining my PhD, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a medical liaison.
My experience in science and in industry led to my discovery that my true passion is to actively try to create bridges between science and medically oriented industry, and thereby making a concrete contribution to medical treatment and to helping people. Translating science into practical health care has become my inspiration and my goal.
Besides working as a consultant, I am writing a blog about new developments, medical products and ideas within my areas of interest. My goal with my blog is creating a network of medical specialists, patients, scientists and representatives of industry who despite differences in perspective have similar interests.
